Managed by Mongold, the Naran Mandal site, previously known as Tsagaan Tsakhir, Project King, and Special Mines, is an actively producing, high-grade, narrow-vein gold mine located in Bayankhongor, Mongolia.

Naran Mandal mine site is actively being mined at Vein One, though the current reported JORC Resource is defined between Vein One and Vein Ten, with a total of ten economically-mineable veins. After considerable geological modeling and due diligence by an independent third-party, development on Vein Ten will begin in 2019, followed by exploration works on other veins.

The deposit has a JORC compliant inferred resource of 212,500 ounces of gold at 8.7 g/t, as a result of a 2017 drilling campaign, which confirmed Naran Mandal’s theory that its project is an orogenic deposit, based on the mineral assemblages, with enormous additional potential to extend on both strike and dip from the JORC defined resource.

The drilling has only defined the veins to a depth of approximately 200 meters, and RPM Global believes a deeper drilling program has the potential to dramatically uplift the defined ounces.
